As a tribute to those who serve, please wear your uniform. (if it still fits). Lets have a great turnout December 7, 2006 at the American Legion Post 14 on Saint James Road. The Program starts promptly at 1000.

Pearl Harbor Survivor John Bruening of Vancouver and President of the Vancouver Chapter of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association has announced the Chapter will commemorate the sixty-fifth (65th) anniversary of the December 7th attack on Pearl Harbor with a Memorial Service at American Legion Post 14, 4607 NE St. James Road, Vancouver, WA 98663 at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 7th, 2006. Speakers will include The Honorable Royce Pollard, Vancouvers Mayor, and Iraqi War Veterans Jeremy Wellman, and Samuel Celazques of Vancouver
Included in the Program will be a tribute to all Clark County Pearl Harbor Survivors, and other service men and women who have served or are serving our great nation. Others honoring our Pearl Harbor Survivors will be the Cape Horn Post 122 Rifle Squad, who will fire a rifle salute, Soloist Ms. Patricia Yates with her beautiful renditions of The Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America and John Clapp, 40 et 8 Chaplin.
Lest We Forget this memorial service is open to all interested in saluting our Pearl Harbor Survivors and all Va ncouver Military Personnel. To further honor the Pearl Harbor Survivors and honor our brave men and women who are currently fighting to preserve our freedoms. All Active, Former, and Retired Military Personnel are requested to wear their uniforms.
Refreshment will be served following the Memorial Service.
