The memorial "High Mass" for Howard "Shack" Moore, Rear Admiral USN, Ret. will be held at:

Plans are being made for his final resting place at Arlington National Cemetary at a later date.
I have received a number of thoughtful requests for how we would like to receive flowers or donations in honor of my father. Given that my dad left no preference, I woud prefer that the generous intent of our friends be donated to a scholoarship fund. Therefore, I suggest that in lieu of flowers, people may make a donation to the Tailhook Education Foundation.
Donattions can be accomplished most easily online through the following link. http://www.tailhook.org/Foundation.html To assist with accounting, when you get to the input box for "Country" simply type in "Shack Moore". This will enable the foundation to determine the amount donated in my father's name. If a sufficient amount is accumulated, a scholarship will be established in his name, otherwise it will go to the general fund. Either way is greatly appreciated and will benefit a needing deserving individual.
