Good Morning,
Yesterdays drill was less successfuly then expected. Less than half of the Cadets attented this important meeting. Instructor Bob Highland conducted an excellent breifing on Survival Techniques.
This sessesion was in prepration for the drill on February 19th. During this drill the cadets will put to use what they learned yesterday. We will visit Mr. Highland's property to learn more about survival. All cadets should wear their BDU's or Dungarees and bring a sleeping bag (proper use of, is part of training) Change of Clothes, pocket knife and compass.
Cadets are to assemble at the Unit headquarters not later than 0730. We will leave for Beaver Creek, OR promply at 0745.
We need help with transportation, and cash donations to buy food for scheduled bar-b-q. We also need an accurate headcount of who will be attending, what parents will be able to provide transportation and donations not later than Tuesday, 15 February 2005. Cadets will be returned to the Unit headquarters NLT 1700 on Saturday the 19th.
Since we do not have emails for all cadets please insure that your shipmates get this message.
Other Training schedule includes:
March 5 Scuba Diving famliarization Training
March 19 Annual Inspection - Please mark your calender. This is a mandatory drill for all cadets. We lose points for those who do not attend.

May 7th Airman Training and visit to Pearson Air Muesuem.
May 21 Visit McCord Airforce Base
June (dtbd) Ride Rose Festival Ships.
Aug 6 Visit Oregon Steam Up at Brooks Oregon.
As you can see we have an ambitious program for the first half of the year. We can only carry it out with the help of parents.
So our female cadets can participate we need an adult female (18 or Older) to become and insturctor. Please have any potential helper call me at 360 750 0209.
Any Questions call me.
Respectfully,
L. M. Patella
Commanding Officer
