WODCON OVERVIEW

 

In June of 2016, WEDA will host the World Dredging Congress and Exposition (WODCON), the only worldwide conference dedicated exclusively to dredging and maritime construction. This event only occurs in the Western Hemisphere every 9 years, so don't miss the opportunity to showcase your company to this global audience.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

 

The Western Dredging Association is pleased to announce that the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel has been selected as the venue for the World Organization of Dredging's 21st World Dredging Congress (WODCON XXI). The Hyatt Regency Hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Miami, Florida. It is within walking distance to the Mary Brickell Village (marybrickellvillage.com), American Airlines Arena and the Bayside Market Place (baysidemarketplace.com) and 15 minutes away from Miami International Airport and the beaches.

  The Hyatt Regency Hotel room block is full and the hotel is sold out for the conference dates. Across the street from the Hyatt, in downtown Miami are the EPIC hotel & JW Marriot Marquis. As of April 18th, both of these hotels have availability.

  Riverfront Exhibit Hall is located on the lobby level of the Hyatt Regency Miami and is approximately 28,000 square feet.

BOOTH PRICING AND BENEFITS

  Booths measure 10' x 10' or approximately 3 x 3 meters and include the following:
 
  • One (1) full conference registration (access to all functions and ticketed events)
  • Up to three (3) exhibitor passes for $895 each. (access to only functions inside exhibit hall).
  • 8' high backwall, 3' high siderail, wastebasket, and ID sign
  • 6' x 30" skirted table and two (2) side chairs
  • Option to add one (1) 500 watt electrical outlet in your booth reservation for $90
  • A listing in the program, along with brief company profile (max 50 words)
  • Wi-Fi in exhibit hall 
 

Additional Exhibitor passes for $895 allow access to the exhibit hall and all functions including inside. These include:

  • Ice Breaker Reception on Monday at 6:30 PM
  • Daily breakfast Tuesday - Friday 7:30 - 8:30 AM
  • AM breaks 9:30 - 10:00 AM
  • Lunches on Wednesday & Thursday 11:30 - 1:00 PM
  • PM breaks - 3:00 - 3:30 PM
  • * Tickets for Keynote Luncheon (Tues.), Evening Harbor Boat Tour (Wed.), WODCON GALA Dinner (Thurs.) & Port of Miami Tour (Fri.) can be purchased separately.

Full Conference Registrations for members (WEDA, CEDA & EADA) can be purchased for $1295. These include all of the functions inside the expo hall and:

  • Young WODA offsite at nearby Irish Pub Tuesday at 6:30 PM
  • Evening Harbor Cruise onboard 170' yacht Wednesday at 6:30 PM
  • GALA Dinner / Awards ceremony inside James L. Knight Center Thursday 6:30 PM
