LOCATION:
The San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center is scenically located on Seawall Boulevard. It is a 32-acre, beachfront hotel and spa resort with breathtaking Gulf views on beautiful Galveston Island, Texas. The San Luis Resort is only a 10min drive from Galveston’s Strand Historic District. (The San Luis Resort is roughly a 43 mile drive from William P. Hobby (HOU) Airport and a 70 mile drive from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH))

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Western Dredging Association is conducting its annual meeting from November 12-14, 2019 at the San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center in Galveston, TX. . The meeting will provide a forum for the exchange of information of interest to the dredging industry and its associates. Representatives from all areas of the industry, including regulatory, resource agencies, contracting, and manufacturing, will attend to discuss dredging economics, benefits, technologies and current issues. Professional Development Hours (PDHs) certificates will be available for this meeting.

TENTATIVE AGENDA:

• November 12th
• Tuesday (11/12/19) evening will start with an Ice Breaker Social and early registration from 6-9 PM.
• November 13th
• Wednesday (11/13/19) agenda will consist of technical presentations and a luncheon program. Evening will follow up with a social event and dinner.
• November 14th
• Thursday (11/14/19) will continue with a partial day of technical presentations, luncheon program, and conclude around 3pm.
