Zoom Facilitator: Kathryn Thomas, Vice President, ANAMAR Environmental Consulting, Inc.

General Webinar Overview:

Sediment samples are collected for chemical, physical, toxicological, and biological analysis. Collection techniques should be evaluated and chosen for each sampling site and each sampling purpose. Choosing the most appropriate sampling device and technique depends on the purpose of the sampling, the location of the project, and the characteristics of the sediment.

In this program, we will discuss equipment and methods to sample sediments. We will cover the strengths and weaknesses of the most common techniques and equipment to help you better choose which will best fulfill your project needs. We will also discuss what information you should provide to get the best quotes from your subcontractors.
