Presenter Bio:

Narayan Kumar

Narayan Kumar is a 2nd Year Ph.D. Student at the University of Delaware at the Centre for Applied Coastal Research and Western Dredging Association Fellow for 2023. His research is focused on numerical modeling or simulation of sediment transport to gauge their effect on beach profile evolution. He is also contributing to developing a three-phase open-source numerical tool called “sedInterFoam” to estimate sediment transport in the OpenFoam framework.
