 General Overview:

This webinar is geared toward project owners who want to obtain dredging permits. The webinar will summarize the types of dredging, the history of dredging requirements dating back to the 1970s, sampling, analytical, and evaluation procedures for dredging projects with offshore disposal, and final agency review and approval. The procedures will be focused primarily on the best practices found in Paul Berman’s career and include communication with the client and regulatory agencies.

Presenter Bio:

Paul Berman has 17 years of experience with ANAMAR as the QA Manager and lab coordinator.  His primary responsibilities include preparing sections of regulatory documents and the project Sampling and Analysis Plan/Quality Assurance Project Plan (SAP/QAPP) before initiating field sampling and reviewing and validating analytical and quality control results to ensure they meet specified criteria.  Before his time at ANAMAR, Mr. Berman worked at an analytical laboratory performing water and sediment testing as an analyst, project manager, and QA Officer.
