The Board of the Gulf Coast Chapter of WEDA invites you to submit an abstract for a technical presentation at our Fall 2018 conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Presentations on all aspects of dredging and disposal are welcome, but we are looking to showcase dredging’s impacts on coastal restoration, economics, and national security. All abstracts should be sent to Jeff Corbino at jeffrey.m.corbino@usace.army.mil.

Abstracts are due by August 31, 2018.

LOCATION:
The ACE Hotel sits comfortably on the corner of Carondelet and Lafayette Streets in the Warehouse District of the best city on Earth! Just a few short blocks from the famous French Quarter District, the hotel is approximately 30 minutes driving time from the New Orleans Armstrong International (MSY) Airport.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Western Dredging Association is conducting its annual meeting on November 14-15, 2018 at the ACE Hotel New Orleans. The meeting will provide a forum for the exchange of information of interest to the dredging industry and its associates. Representatives from all areas of the industry, including regulatory, resource agencies, contracting, and manufacturing, will attend to discuss dredging economics, benefits, technologies and current issues.

2017 Gulf Coast Chapter Annual Meeting 

The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Western Dredging Association conducted its annual meeting on November  9, 2017 at the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama. The WEDA Gulf Coast Chapter Board would like to thank all of our sponsors, speakers and attendees for making the meeting a HUGE success! The meeting provided a forum for the exchange of information of interest to the dredging industry and its associates. Representatives from all areas of the industry, including regulatory, resource agencies, contracting, and manufacturing attended to discuss dredging economics, benefits, technologies and current issues.
